Interior Designer / Interior Architect

Ebert Norman Brady Architects has an immediate opening for an experienced Interior Designer / Interior Architect to join our team. Located at the beach in sunny North Florida, Ebert Norman Brady Architects is a well-respected, multidisciplinary firm seeking to grow our interior design capabilities and services. The successful candidate will participate in all phases of projects and be responsible for selection of interior materials, finishes and color selections, space planning, construction document preparation and client meetings and presentations. The candidate must have a minimum of five years experience in an architectural or interior design practice.   

Qualifications:

·         Self-motivated, able to take responsibility, possess a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude.

·         Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit for production of construction documents and 3d modeling in an architectural office.

·         Knowledge of interior building codes and standards.

·         Able to effectively communicate verbally, graphically and in writing.

·         Highly organized and detail oriented.

·         Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Functional knowledge of MS Office Products.

·         Experience in Sketch-up, or other visualization software is preferred.

·         Experience in researching, documenting, sourcing and specifying interior finishes and colors, FF&E, materials, fabrics, hardware, appliances, signage, graphics and lighting.

·         Experience in working with product representatives, vendors, clients and consultants in a positive, professional and productive manner.

·         Experience in the preparation of presentations, material and finish color boards, color binders and booklets to convey the design intent.

·         Experience in the review of shop drawings, submittals and work in place for conformance with the construction documents. 

·         Possess a four-year accredited degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited or NAAB-accredited program.

·         Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.

·         A legal resident of the United States or possess a valid visa for employment in the US.

Revit / BIM Manager / Technician

Ebert Norman Brady Architects has an immediate opening for an experienced REVIT/BIM Manager / Technician to join our team. Located at the beach in sunny North Florida, Ebert Norman Brady Architects is a well-respected, multidisciplinary firm seeking an individual with an advance knowledge of BIM. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for transitioning the office from AutoCAD to Revit. This will include the development of BIM Standards, implementation of these standards, and mentoring and training of staff during this transition. Once the transition is complete, the candidate will join the production team supporting the project managers in the development of 3d models, and construction drawings while also maintaining template files, training, problem-solving, and oversight of day to day activities of the Revit users. The successful candidate must also have a strong work ethic combined with a passion for production of construction documents and an understanding of building assemblies and “how to put together” a building.

·         Functional knowledge of MS Office Products.

·         Experience in Sketch-up preferred.

·         Working knowledge of building assemblies and “how to put together a building.”

·         Knowledge of building codes and standards.

·         Passion for production of construction documents.

·         Professional degree not required but preferred.
